From 1st January 2015, New Books 2 Go will take over childrens’ book sales in Switzerland from Summersbook (UK) Ltd.

History.

Summersbook (UK) Ltd. has organised book fairs in schools across Europe since 1990. I have been their agent in Switzerland since 2011 and have held over 90 book fairs. Starting from 6 schools in 2011, I now regularly hold book fairs at over 30 schools, from Geneva to Buchs. I have lived in Switzerland since 1993, until 2011 working for ABB and Alstom. I am married with two children, both born in Switzerland and currently studying.

Summersbook (UK) Ltd. has been gradually withdrawing from the International Book Fair side of its business since July 2014 and will no longer be trading in Switzerland from January 2015.

The Future.

New Books 2 Go has been setup by me to continue and to further develop this popular and successful service in Switzerland.

The new business will continue to provide a wide range of English language children’s books, suitable for ages from three to eighteen. All books are sourced from a number of quality British children’s book publishers (not just a single supplier) and are carefully selected to match the needs of each school. In addition, we also carry a selection of books for pre-school children, parents and staff.

My aim is to continue to provide a personal service, maintain high quality and low prices.

Benefits to the School

The school receives a 10% commission based on our days sales. This is to be taken as books from our display on the day or offset against any special requests from the school itself.
